Maid of Honor
Julie was my teammate and recruiting trip host at Iowa State. We became best friends instantly and she played a huge role in my decision to go to ISU. She currently works in IT and is an extremely hard worker, but when asked is always down for happy hour! She is my favorite travel buddy and my go to person! Fun Fact: She was my chauffeur after I had my two knee surgeries. If you ask her she, did it because she loved me not because she got to park in the handicap spot at our business school.
Bridesmaid
Iris has been one of my best friends from middle school. We were inseparable during our teenage years. We have done everything together from attempting to sneak out of friends’ houses (never Bob & Michele’s… their house was Fort Knox), attended many school dances together and spent many summers on lake St.Clair. Iris has been part of the Ronald family for many years and frankly we don’t want to know what life would be like without her.
Bridesmaid
Jessi and I where teammates at ISU. Jessi was a swimmer but was always the diving teams' number one fan! Jessi and I spent many Mondays watching the bachelorette and cooking dinner together in college. We both moved to Ohio after our senior years and now I’m just waiting on the phone call from her that she’s moving into the house next door.
Bridesmaid
Maycee is my older cousin on my mom’s side. We were outnumbered growing up with 7 boy cousins and shortly we will be officially bringing two more into the family. Making it a 9:2 ratio. Are we crazy? Only being two years apart in high school and living two blocks from each other you can imagine we threw some great parties between the two of us. Maycee was on the dance team at U of M and if you are wondering who is the one with all the moves on the dance floor, it’s probably her.
Bridesmaid
Jenna is Trent's little sister. She is a mom to our flower girl Miss. Blakely Kay. Jenna is a super mom as she not only looks after Miss. B but she takes care of 5 other munchkins during the week. Jenna is a tough cookie as you can imagine growing up in a wrestling family you are destined to be able to fight back.
Bridesmaid
Megan was one of my teammates at ISU. She was also my big sis my sophomore year in college. Along with Jessi she was also one of the diving teams big fans. She was always on the edge of the pool cheering us on when she wasn't racing. Megan is super creative, and her art skills blow anything I can do out of the water. She is the type of person that will strike up a conversation with just about anyone. Amongst her vast range of conversation topics rocks are amongst her favorites.
Bridesmaid
Dana was also a teammate of mine at ISU. As I was finishing up my last two years at Iowa state she helped me get through hard practices and meets. Every away trip and meet we went on she was always my roommate. We even got each other through our training trip to Thunder Bay, Canada in the middle of winter where it was -20 and there was nothing to do besides hibernate in our hotel room between practices. Dana continues her passion with diving by coaching little ones and spending much of her summers at the pool. She usually has the best tans in the summer!
Best Man
Tanner is my younger brother. We are separated by 2 years in age. He is most commonly known as Goose (Top Gun reference). We have been best friends for as long as I can remember. Goose and I both wrestled at Iowa State together. Now that our wrestling days are over, we spend most of our time together hunting. Goose is married to Meagan, they live in Grimes with a puppy named Charlie.
Groomsman
Brandon is also my older cousin (older brother to Barret). Brandon and I have always been a lot alike, from being entrepreneurs and running our own businesses to thinking we are the worlds best Bags players. (Be sure to ask him how the last 10-20 games against each other have went). Also, fun fact, Brandon, Barret, Goose, and I have been in a group chat and talked consistently everyday for at least the last 8 years!
Groomsman
Barret is my older cousin and new found Kansas City Chiefs fan! Barret and I have always been super close, from our younger days spending tons of time wrestling to now hunting and golfing. He is one of those guys that no one ever has a bad thing to say about, and is one of the most easy going people I know. Also, after a few cocktails he might also be one of the funniest people I know!
Groomsman
Troy is Sydney’s older brother and father to Jaxon. Troy served our country for four years in the US Army, fortunately for him, those four years were spent in beautiful Hawaii. Over the last 3 months, I have got to witness how great of a dad Troy is to Jaxon. I always wanted another brother but in this case I feel like I got another little sister.
Groomsman
Doug and I met at work 7 years ago, I would be willing to bet that over the course of the last 7 years we have had maybe three serious conversations. Most of our conversations consist of me teaching Doug how to deer hunt, be sure to ask him about his first buck! I actually lived with Doug and his wife Maddi for 6 months about five years about, it was probably the best eating that I have done in my entire life. While living with them, I got to spend tons of time with their two little boys Ripken and Roman, and I am now lucky enough to be referred to as Uncle Trent.
Groomsman
Austin and I became buddies right away when his family moved to Huxley in 2008. We were immediately bonded by sports. After high school Austin went to play football for the University of Iowa. Even though we might not have seen each other as much as we would have like while in college, it seemed like every time we got back together we would pick up right where we left off. Not only is Austin a great guy, he also have two amazing parents and a wonderful wife...all of which are more fun than he is.
Groomsman
Tyler and I have literally been friends for as long as I can possibly remember. Unfortunately, Tyler was never tough enough to wrestle or we probably would have spent more time together than we already did. Tyler was also a college athlete which allowed us to keep a very similar schedule throughout college. That schedule consisted of practice, school, and an occasional Wednesday Mug Night.
Groomsman
Chris and I have been wrestling buddies since 2nd grade. It’s safe to say I taught him almost everything he knows in regards to wrestling. He eventually went on to play college football at Minnesota State University. Chris is now back in center Iowa with his wife Rachel and four children!
