FAQs

The Wedding Website of Victoria Ross and Anthony Waye
Question

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes! Please select the RSVP tab above and let us know you're coming to the ceremony and/or reception in order to save your seat at the wedding.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

"Church-wear"/Tea party (think summer dresses, slacks, nice shirts) The ceremony and reception will be on wooded and grassy areas...please rethink stilettos!

Question

Will there be a meal?

Answer

Yes! We are catering delicious barbecue options with a variety of meats and sides. Water, iced tea, lemonade provided; no alcohol, please! (The meats and some sides are gluten-free and will be labeled, but are prepared in a non-dedicated kitchen. There is potential cross contamination. Please understand that we can't accommodate all allergies, so bring your own meal if you have special needs beyond this. Thank you!) Please note that the meal will begin around 1 pm. While there will be drinks available, you may want to eat a good breakfast or bring a light snack for your little ones or blood sugar needs.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Parking is only allowed at the Wintercove North Pavilion parking area. A shuttle will run from the parking to the ceremony from 10:00am-10:45am sharp. A shuttle will run after the ceremony back to the Wintercove North Pavilion for the reception.

Question

Are there restrooms?

Answer

There are public park restrooms at the Wintercove North Picnic area, near parking and the reception. There will be a port-a-potty available for use at the wedding ceremony area.

Question

What do I bring?

Answer

Yourself! If you're bringing a card or gift from our registry, you're welcome to leave it at the reception site in the designated gift area.

Question

What about kids?

Answer

If you RSVP'd with your kids, they are welcome! There is a playground near the reception site, plenty of lawn games, and a kid friendly meal option.

Question

What do I do in between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony will end at 11:45 am and the reception meal starts at 1 pm, when the newlyweds join. As you shuttle back to the reception area, check out the back of your ceremony handout for a fun map that will guide you through some enjoyable pre-reception activities.

Question

How long will the reception last?

Answer

You may depart when you need to, but the reception will host a meal together, games, photos, and celebrating with the bride and groom. The reception will begin at 1 pm and the bride and groom will send off at 4:30pm.
