This happens to be one of the busiest weekends in Crested Butte and lodging options do fill up quickly and can get expensive. For the best and most inexpensive lodging please book ASAP. Here are several options: 1. Elevations Resort and Spa - we have a small number of rooms blocked off at a discounted guests rate. See the "travel" tab to book a room. There is a shuttle that runs to and from the resort and wedding venue 2. Nordic Inn - We have 5 rooms blocked off for guests to stay at in the main town of Crested Butte 3. Camping - For those wanting to sleep under the stars and get the true CB experience, consider camping at one of the many campgrounds CB and surrounding areas have to offer. We will have a large house that campers can come get ready and hang out at when needed. 4. House Rental / Other hotels - look on AirBNB and VRBO if you have a group of people you'd like to share a place with and have more space. The sooner you book the more options (cheaper price) you will have! 5. Gunnison, CO - given that it is one of the busiest weekends in CB, if you don't mind a longer drive (30 mins) consider staying in Gunnison. **If you are having trouble finding lodging within your budget or have any questions, please please reach out to Nate and Abbi and we will be more than happy to help find something that works! Dressy casual - feel free to where whatever suits you best! Anywhere from a summer dress (or fancy jeans) and boots to formal wear works for us. We will be at high elevation, so expect it to be warm (70s-80s) during the day and then chilly once the sun goes down.
There will be ample parking at the venue. If you are planning on having fun and not wanting to drive after the ceremony, there is a shuttle that runs to and from the venue free of charge (the shuttle runs directly to Elevation Hotel and Spa). The AirBnB the party is staying at is also a short walk away too! We will also have many friends and family members that live in the area and will be happy to drive people around town if needed.
We have a hard stop at the venue at 10pm but we want to take advantage of being with all of our favorite people at once! If you want to continue the party, check back here later for where we're planning on heading next.
Crested Butte sits at close to 9,000ft which is a big jump for folks coming from sea level. Please drink lots of water and be prepared to feel like a cheap date if you're planning on having beverages during the celebrations :)
