What are you doing about masks and safety?

Answer

We're glad you asked. This event will take place outside, though you will need to cross through the venue upon arriving and for dinner services. Escondido no longer requires masks and we ask that you do what you are most comfortable with. We'll have extra on hand in case you forgot! If you are utilizing the shuttle services, masks may be required during the short 15min trip. We want you to feel safe while you have some fun so please make your own choice about mask wearing and respect others around you.

What's the dress code?

Cocktail, please! It is May in Texas so check the temperatures and dress to impress but also in what you feel most comfortable. It's going to be a party!

Is there transportation?

Answer

Of course! Shuttles will be provided to and from the Friday evening celebration to the host hotels. Please lyft or uber if you're staying on your own!

Are there other places to stay?

If the blocked hotel is not for you, there are tons of options! Check out some of the amazing Airbnbs in Marble Falls and Horseshoe Bay. We don't recommend making the drive back to Austin. The roads are fast and dark and we'd rather you be safe!

What's the closest Airport?

Answer

Austin! Horsehoe Bay is about an hour outside of downtown. We recommend flying into Austin and renting a car for the trip. So stay an extra night or two in downtown ATX and see all the sites or head right out to Hill Country. Make it an amazing trip!

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love the little ones, the vow renewal and reception are for the grown-ups! If you have kids traveling with you, they are more than welcome at all other events taking place throughout the weekend. Please reach out to Sam or Kelsey with any questions.
