Once upon a time, in a land of tweets and hashtags, a love story was brewing. It all began when Kimberly befriended Christian, Corey's childhood friend, in college. In 2014, Christian and Kimberly started tweeting, and then came Corey, sliding into Kimberly's DMs. At first, she was hesitant, but Christian vouched for Corey. The two started talking on Twitter, and then texting on and off. Three years later, they finally went on a date. Immediately after the date, they both knew they were destined to be together. And now, they're getting married! Who knew Twitter could be such a great matchmaker?
On Kimberly's 30th birthday, Corey and Kimberly flew from London to Paris to celebrate. They did all the touristy things: the Louvre, a boat tour on the River Seine, and climbed the Eiffel Tower. After the tours, Corey told Kimberly he had a big birthday surprise. He blindfolded Kimberly and led her to a secret spot by the river, where he had set up a beautiful scene complete with a view of the Eiffel Tower, candles, flowers, and the words "Marry Me" spelled out. As a violinist played Bruno Mars' "Marry You," Corey told Kimberly how much she means to him and asked her to be his wife. Kimberly was so overcome with emotion that she didn't even notice the photographer snapping away. Of course, she said yes, and they celebrated the moment with champagne and an unforgettable engagement shoot.
