According to Zuriht she is the coolest human you will ever meet oh she's also the brides big sister. Zuriht basically raised Zayra and saved her from their horrific babysitter. Zuriht is a little fireball for the people she loves and she will find you. In her words "I’m just a little Waffle House kid from the luxurious town of Sanford, North Carolina. I was raised in Austin, Texas , went to College in West Texas and I have now been living in Los Angeles for the last 13 years of my life. I have one amazing beautiful, gorgeous human being that I get to live out this life with named Joaquin Alessandro. I am a producer for Hulu and the Onyx collective working on Sports, Brand and Live TV. I am not funny, really boring and my life is a zoo. I strive to live novaturient life so I must travel the world - and my soul feels its home surrounded by nature. You’ll find me trekking a glacier or climbing an active volcano as a form of self love. I live for sunsets and reading books about trauma. If I love you-you’ll prob be in hiking boots on a Saturday morning and sipping orange wine on Dockweiler. I am Mexican, first generation, child of immigrants and proud of it. My goal this year is to be PADI diver, I just have to figure out how to swim. Someone once made me take enneagram test and I’m apparently a 7. Wish a boat so I could live out my true dream came with that test request". It's only fitting that Zuriht joins Zayra as her maid of honor on one of Zayra's greatest adventures.

Eric is Matthew's brother, Uncle E to Luka, and Zayra's soon to be brother. Eric has dedicated his life to being a Real Estate Agent and has his own brand called Dally Pads. Eric is very excited to see his little brother marry the love of his life and wishes them years of happiness.
Ivette Depaz

Growing up as cousins, there was never a dull moment when Zayra was was with Ivette. In Ivette's words, "We were always laughing until we couldn't breathe or scheming in the middle of the night to bug my parents Zayra played one of the biggest roles in my childhood even though we lived 1000 miles away from each other. We always knew we would be each others bridesmaids one day and here we are now!!!" Ivette has many goals in life but some of the top ones she wishes to accomplish is to travel the world, skydive, run a full marathon, and convince her boyfriend Sloan to do each of those with her. Now Zayra can't imagine her special day without Ivette standing by her side - just like she's been when we they were little kids.
Jordan Flecker

Jordan met Matt at the dawn of time… (advisory period in 7th grade) and they were inseparable until college came around. With Jordan attending University of Arizona and Matt attending Texas Tech/State there were a few states in between that made seeing each other hard, “the separation was unbearable”. Every now and then they would visit each other and it would be as if they were in high school again still smacking each other with every pass of a punch buggy. “The moment I met Zayra, and Matt told me how much he loved her I knew she was the one for him”. When lil Luka was announced a boy, Matt honored Jordan the privilege to be his Godfather. “This is going to be one to remember, I wish you both a loving marriage with your beautiful boy Luka”
Sarah Fairweather

Sarah currently resides in Dallas with her loving boyfriend, Robert, and their two adorable dogs, Maverick and Zoe. Her journey into the world of Matt and Zayra began through her relationship with Robert. Upon meeting Zayra, Sarah instantly expressed to Robert her desire to become friends with her. Although initially reserved, Sarah gradually opens up once she feels comfortable, taking her time to build trust and rapport. It was through shared interests, particularly their mutual love for reading, that Sarah and Zayra found common ground and their friendship began to blossom. Sarah deeply admires Zayra for her kindness, authenticity, and remarkable dedication as a mother to Luka. Witnessing Matt and Zayra's relationship evolve and flourish has been a true gift, and Sarah admires their resilience in facing life's challenges together. As Sarah stands by Zayra's side on her special day, she hopes to bring with her not only love and support but also the enduring friendship that will continue to grow between them.
Robert Levitan

Growing up and going through school together Robert and Matt met playing sports and being involved in BBYO together. Their friendship continued as Robert visited Matt during his gap year in Israel which ended up with them being roommates for a year at Texas Tech. Even afterwards when Matt took his journey to Texas State to continue his education, Robert and Matt have remained close friends and Robert is elated to be able to spend his and Zayra’s special day with the two of them
Brooks Hamilton

Neighbor-turned-bestie, Brooks is a Frisco, Texas native and a University of Texas at Dallas alumni. Brooks currently resides in North Dallas with her partner, Clayton, and their six year old English Springer Spaniel, Gunner. Brooks loves to garden, read, cook, and spend time with friends and family. In Brooks words, "Zayra, is someone who I adore and whos friendship has changed my life!" It's true, Zayra's life became brighter when she mustered the courage to call out from the balcony and appreciate how lovely hers and Clayton's patio looked. Brooks is like a beam of sunlight on a gloomy day. The wedding day wouldn't be complete without Brooks unforgettable presence.
Miles Thomas

In his junior year at Texas State college, Miles crossed paths with Matt. Describing the encounter, Miles recalls, "He wore a bucket hat, and I was unsure due to his bold fashion choices." Despite their initial differences, Matt and Miles quickly connected over shared interests, like shooting hoops at the rec center. Miles holds Matt in high regard as one of the most genuine and caring individuals he has ever known, and he values their longstanding friendship. Miles also admires Z for possessing similar qualities, establishing a strong foundation for her and Matts relationship. Anticipating their wedding day, Miles eagerly looks forward to celebrating this special occasion with them.

Abraham is Zayra's brother and according to him he's cooler than their older sister Zuriht. Abraham lives in San Antonio with his wife Laura and their 3 dogs Elli, Zora, and Melky. He is a sports enthusiast and musician since before he could say his first word. Abraham enjoys spending time with his friends and family and is looking forward to being a part of his sisters big day.
