Both events are at Top of the Rock at Big Cedar Lodge. - Ceremony: Chapel of the Ozarks - Reception: The Wine Cellar Room The Wine Cellar Room sits right along the path to the chapel, so you’ll pass it on the way up.
The Wine Cellar Room can be a little tricky to find, but there will be clear signage and someone on site to help guide you. When you arrive at Top of the Rock, you’ll follow the signs toward the Heritage area. From there, you’ll take a short path to an elevator that brings you down to a lower level. Once you exit the elevator, you’ll walk down a hallway that leads to a door opening back outside. From that door, you’ll follow a short outdoor path straight to the chapel. As you walk toward the chapel, you’ll pass the Wine Cellar Room on your left — that’s where the reception will take place later in the evening. After the ceremony, everyone will simply follow the same walkway back to the Wine Cellar Room for happy hour, followed by dinner and dancing. Everything is close together, and the staff will help guide the flow so it all feels easy and seamless.
No — guests do not have to pay any admission or entry fee to attend the wedding. Just let the staff at the entrance know you’re there for a wedding at the Chapel of the Ozarks, and they’ll wave you through and direct you toward parking.
Guests have two easy options when arriving at Top of the Rock: General Parking (Complimentary): You can park in the main Top of the Rock parking area at no cost. From there, a shuttle will take you to the Heritage area, where you’ll follow the path toward the elevator that leads down to the hallway connecting to the chapel and the Wine Cellar Room. Staff and signage will help guide you. Valet Parking ($25): If you prefer, valet service is available at the entrance for a $25 fee. Both options get you to the same place — choose whichever feels most convenient for you.
Please plan to arrive by 5:00 PM. This gives you plenty of time for parking, taking the shuttle or valet, and making your way along the path to the chapel before the ceremony begins.
Light, elegant summer attire is perfect for the setting. Think midi or maxi dresses in soft, romantic tones — pastels, florals, or muted colors all fit beautifully. Dressy sandals or heels work well, and a light layer is a good idea since the indoor spaces are air‑conditioned.
The groom and groomsmen will be wearing dark jeans, boots, a button‑down shirt, and a blazer. Guests are welcome to dress similarly if they prefer a more polished Western look. Suits are absolutely welcome, but jeans are also allowed as long as they’re dressed up — think dark, well‑fitted denim paired with a nice button‑down and a blazer. Casual jeans, T‑shirts, or untucked looks wouldn’t fit the setting
Yes — both the chapel and the Wine Cellar Room are fully air‑conditioned. The reception space also has doors that can open to the outside, and if the weather is nice, we may have those open for a bit.
We’ll start with hors d’oeuvres during happy hour, followed by a buffet‑style dinner with plenty of options. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please reach out to me directly — I’m happy to see how we can best accommodate your needs.
We kindly ask that phones and cameras stay put during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Our photographer will capture everything.
