Even though we went to the same high school and graduated the same year, somehow our paths never truly crossed. We had mutual friends, walked the same halls, and probably even passed each other a few times — but fate decided to make us wait. After graduation, Sabrina was working at Walgreens while going to college. Hunter, on the other hand, started making very frequent Walgreens trips (definitely not for the snacks). He had noticed the cute girl behind the counter and couldn’t resist coming in just to see her, though he insists it was purely coincidence! One of our mutual friends eventually connected the dots and told Hunter the mystery girl’s name, Sabrina. Not long after, he found her on social media and made it his mission to actually talk to her. After a few more Walgreens visits and some flirting, we finally exchanged numbers and went on our first date to the movies. The rest, as they say, is history. We’ve been together since 2017 and every day since has been our favorite love story. Below is the very first picture we ever took together on October 22, 2017. We went out to Manuel’s and (not so) innocently told them it was Hunter’s birthday, just so we could get free ice cream. Totally worth it.
