Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please note that the venue does not permit blue jeans.

Question

Are children allowed to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Families and children are welcome to attend the ceremony, which is a full Catholic mass, at St. Michael's church in Livonia at 4pm on Friday, June 14, 2024. We love all the littles in our life and know how special they are to you. However, we have decided to have an adults (18+) only reception. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Can I bring a date (plus one) to your wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply cannot afford for all our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Only those guests who are named specifically on the invitation are invited to the reception. Thank you so much for understanding.

Question

Will there be a time gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The church ceremony begins at 4:00pm. Cocktail hour begins at 6:00pm. Family members of the bride and groom should remain at the church following the ceremony for quick family photos. Non-family guests are invited to head over to the Meeting House Grand Ballroom with an arrival time at or after 6:00pm.

Question

Do I have to pay for parking in downtown Plymouth?

Answer

No! The entrance to the venue, Meeting House Grand Ballroom, is within a parking lot that is reserved (on the weekends) for weddings at their venue. A parking lot attendant will be at the entrance directing wedding guests upon arrival. This parking lot is free for all wedding guests.

Question

What is the discount code for a room at the Detroit Marriott Livonia?

Answer

Please make reservations by going to www.marriott.com/dtwli and type in the group code of STWSTWA for a king-sized bed for $114 and STWSTWD for a standard double bedded room for $124. You may also call our reservations office at (800) 228-9290. If making reservations by phone, please mention the St Onge/Wacker wedding room block.

Question

Question

What if I need to change my hotel reservation?

Answer

Question

Will transportation be provided to/from the hotel?

Answer

Yes. For those guests staying at the Detroit Marriott Livonia hotel, a shuttle will be in service to/from the reception ONLY. Guests will be responsible for their own transportation to/from the ceremony. The shuttle will run during designated times throughout the night, both from the hotel to the reception and from the reception back to the hotel. Please be sure to sign up for a specific time slot as there are only 20 seats on the shuttle. Guests are welcome to drive straight from the ceremony to the reception and leave their car overnight at the reception hall if they like. However, guests are responsible for finding their own transportation back to their vehicles on Saturday, June 15. Please don't forget to secure a seat on the shuttle at the hotel before attending the ceremony/reception.
