When I (Kristen) met Jeremiah, it was our freshman year of college and he was dating my roommate. Yep. We all hung out a lot as a group, and Jeremiah and I kinda hated each other, but we were friends all the same. My roommate and Jeremiah broke up in November of our freshman year. Jeremiah and I were on freshman class chapel band together, and we had a class together second semester. Apparently, he had a big ol' crush on me, but I was totally oblivious. He asked me to get coffee "off campus" (which everyone knows is a date) in April of freshman year, right before finals. We went and got coffee and went on a walk. We had a lot of fun, but when he asked to buy me dinner before we went home, I said no, because it was finals week and I needed to pack. *facepalm* I redeemed myself by asking if he wanted to study for earth science (our class together). We did. We "dtr" ed that week, talked through the summer, and started officially dating in August of 2018. I'm thankful that that roommate situation gave me my forever roommate!
