Garden formal is open to interpretation! Think summer suits and ties for men, summer appropriate long or tea length dresses, fancy summer cocktail dresses, and block heels or flat shoes for women. The reception will be entirely outside, and beginning in the mid afternoon, which may be quite hot this time of year. Colors and fun prints welcome!
It is not necessary to rent a car, unless you'd like to drive outside the city. Uber is easy to use in Portland and the city is small. Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel blocks to ceremony, reception and back. The welcome party is walking distance from hotel blocks.
