Well... let's just say in our generation online dating is huge! Because who really has the time or money to go out every weekend and mingle? More like staying in on the weekends with a nice bubble bath and some Netflix or video games! Anyways let's get into the near end of 2020 when Tyler and I officially met on the Facebook Dating app. Tyler caught a glimpse of my hippy and adventurous nature from the first few photos and he was sold! When I received the notification that someone had swiped right on my profile, I opened it right up, checked his profile and I knew he would be a catch when I saw the words "Hopeless Romantic" on his profile. The next twoish weeks began the amazing conversations of getting to know one another. Day after day we spoke non-stop, waiting eagerly for the other to reply, then one day we set up a "hangout" date- is what the kids call it nowadays. And since then we have made history!
Who would have ever thought to spend a cheesy holiday created to celebrate our loved ones?? Eww, So instead on our Valentine's Day... Yup, we are those weirdos who spent this Holiday in a Ghost Town! We don't know if yall ACTUALLY believe but JINKIES.... let's just say Tyler and I wanted to run out of the town! While Jeromes Ghost Tours might seem like a money-hungry industry, what we experienced was beyond what we expected. From random voices heard from the spirit box, ghost blowing air in Tyler's ears, to something playing with my hair...we spent our Valentine’s Day in this creepy little town with great food and endless roundabouts ( haha- inside joke... Tyler hates roundabouts for some reason).
We decided to simply drive home one late night from of course doing homework, while Tyler kept me focused on the task at hand- well sort of haha! While driving, of course, my spontaneous nature kicked in, and simply wanted to spend more time with each other. Randomly driving around we somehow ended up swerving into the exit lane...and off we parked in an empty dirt lot in Downtown Tempe. Walking along the Lake we came across some of those electrical scooters and began our marvelous adventure at 2 AM, coming back home until 6 AM. Spending most of the night someone we both saw spending the rest of our lives with, together we enjoyed the twinkling stars in the night sky with the bright city lights glistening into our eyes...we knew we would be great together! * So folks that is all for now!
