VISIT IDAHO
McCall
McCall would be a perfect addition to the trip. Just a nice scenic 2 hour drive north and you will find the small town of McCall. There's restaurants, boutiques, hot springs, boat rentals or depending on the weather all the outdoor activities.
Idaho City
Idaho City is one of our favorite places annndd it was also the place Caleb proposed to me too! From Boise its a little less than an hour drive and again a beautiful scenic drive up to the little old western town. This is our top pick for single track riding, for grabbing a great burger and huckleberry cheesecake at Trudy's Kitchen, having a little staycation at the Smokejumper Cabins or getting a private tub at The Springs. (FYI this is one of our favorite private hot springs but they fill up fast so make sure you reserve your spot early)!
DOWNTOWN BOISE
SO MANY good food options in downtown boise. Enjoy brunch on the greenbelt, an afternoon brewery or cocktails on a rooftop bar! Some of our favorite places are - The Warehouse food hall, Fork, Sid's Garage, Diablo & Sons Saloon, Nara and Yoi Tomo Sushi!
BOGUS BASIN
Bogus Basin is the perfect place for the family and only a 40 min drive from Boise! Head up the hill to the Bogus Basin Ski resort where there you can go downhill mountain biking, take a ropes course, or chair ride to the top and end it with a ride on the mountain coaster!
