In April of 2019, Katy and Logan took a trip to New Orleans for Logan's birthday (at least that's what Katy thought). Little did she know, Logan was planning on proposing in their favorite city. Since Katy is a photographer, she set it up perfectly for Logan to propose without even knowing it! As they were planning their trip, Katy asked one of their friends if she could take photos of her and her boyfriend while they were in New Orleans. The plan was to go to the French Quarter to take some amazing traditional New Orleans photos but the plan was spoiled by a festival going on at the time. They ended up going to a beautiful park instead and half way through the photo session, one of the friends suggested taking photos of Katy and Logan. 2 minutes into taking photos, Logan declared that he wasn't in the mood for photos, so Katy walked away (annoyed) but noticed that their friend was still taking photos. Confused, Katy turned around to see Logan on one knee, struggling to get the ring out of the bag he brought it in. Katy was shocked, as she really did not see this coming (and was still slightly annoyed that Logan gave her attitude about taking photos). She obviously said yes!
