Before the festivities officially begin in Barranquilla, we are kicking things off with a trip to Cartagena! While the wedding party will be staying at a private villa within the Walled City, everyone is welcome to join the fun as we explore the historic center, wander through Getsemaní, and enjoy the city’s best rooftops and local food. Think of it as a mini-vacation before the big day!

Arrival in Barranquilla & free time

11:00 am

The wedding party will check out of our Cartagena villa in the morning and travel together by private transportation to Barranquilla. Upon arrival, everyone will check into the hotel. For all other guests: This is where your trip officially begins! Welcome to Barranquilla. Once you arrive at the hotel and check in, the rest of the day is yours to relax or explore. Some ideas for the afternoon: 🛍️Shopping at Mall Plaza 🎡Dinner at Caimán del Río on the riverfront 🌃Nightlife around Plaza del Parque 🍹Drinks at Coco Beach (Sky collection hotel rooftop) 🧖🏻‍♀️Relaxing at the hotel

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at the same location

Farewell & "Desenguayabe" (Hangover Cure)

Most guests will head home on Sunday, though anyone extending their stay is welcome to continue enjoying the weekend in Colombia. The day will remain completely free and flexible, but we’ll gather for a casual “desenguayabe” with food, cold beers, salsa music and time to unwind together.
