Forever & Always

We met at a church outing to Mitchell's mini golf course in the summer of 2012. A mutual friend had given Ryan my phone number and we had talked for a month before deciding to meet in person by going mini golfing. After getting crushed by me in mini golf, Ryan decided to ask me to be his girlfriend and the rest is history!

Ryan and I dated throughout high school and college but it was sticking by each others' sides through everything life threw at us was the real turning point. While Ryan said "I love you" first, I definitely knew I was falling in love with Ryan from the very beginning.

With everything 2020 had thrown our way (on top of literally everyone) I was just counting down the days until 2021. In the midst of everything starting to reopen, Ryan's mom sent out a family group chat to invite everyone out to dinner Friday night. I was just so excited to finally change out of sweatpants and actually get ready for something! Friday night came and I called Ryan to tell him he needed to get off work soon so we could get there in time and he said he was working late and he would meet me later. I showed up at the house and tried to walk into the entryway door and it was locked and I just figured his parents were trying to keep the dogs out of the back for some reason. I had then walked through the patio door and outside I saw Ryan and instantly knew that the start of our forever was about to happen. I managed to get a YES out of crying and laughing and we went inside to some family, food & wine! It was sweet and perfect, just like him
