As two people who like to take matters into their own hands, why should love be any different? For us, it was love at first swipe. After two weeks of chatting (and bonding over House of Dragons), we met for brunch on 9/11/2022; a date that, once again, made history… but this time for all the right reasons. One mimosa turned into many adventures, and three wonderful years later, we got engaged on our third anniversary!

On a trip to Boston to celebrate our third anniversary, Blake got down on one knee during a walk in Boston Common, America’s oldest public park. The proposal was perfectly timed before dinner at Maggiano’s, the Italian restaurant we’ve made our anniversary tradition every year since we met.

When we first began planning our wedding we wanted to have it 9-11-2026, to keep our anniversary that we’ve always celebrated. After touring our venue in October we found that September was too early to beat the Texas heat. We instead decided to get married 11-14-2026, which is also Blake’s birthday! Thank you to everyone that has been so supportive of our love, we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
