Yes! We are asking that our guests dress in formal attire. For men, a dark or neutral suit with a dress shirt and tie is appropriate. A tuxedo is welcome but not required. For women, a long gown or formal midi dress works well. Dressy fabrics in summer colors, florals and refined prints are encouraged. You're going to look amazing!
While we’d love to include everyone, we’re only able to invite those whose names appear on the invitation. If a plus one is listed, you’ll see it when you RSVP.
The ceremony will start promptly at 6:00pm. We recommend you arrive no later than 5:45pm in order to give yourself enough time to find a seat.
We strongly recommend taking one of the provided shuttles from the Hyatt Regency hotel to the Grand Island Mansion. Return shuttles will be provided back to the hotel at the end of the evening. The venue is located on dark and winding country road that can be difficult to navigate after sunset. Additionally, Uber and Lyft pick-ups from the venue can be unreliable. Please plan your transportation accordingly.
While we absolutely love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration unless children are specifically listed on your invitation. We hope this allows everyone to relax and fully enjoy the day with us.
We are having a buffet style dinner, so everyone should be able to find something they enjoy. Ingredients and common allergens will be listed at each food station. If you have specific concerns or allergies, please don't hesitate to reach out to Alexa at (916) 307-9278 and we'll do our best to coordinate with our caterer.
Yes! The Grand Island Mansion has free and convenient parking for guests to use if they decide not to take one of the shuttles from the Hyatt Regency hotel. If you plan to drive yourself, please be prepared to drive home that evening. Cars may not be left at the venue overnight.
