As most of you know, Clint and Anna are both Captains in the United States Army, but have navigated different career fields leading up to their meeting. It wasn't until Clint and Anna were stationed at Fort Jackson, South Carolina that their paths crossed during a field training exercise. Anna was supposed to be in a different training group but of course, didn't follow the rules and stayed with the group her friends were in. It was a good thing she did because Clint ended up in Anna's group and they spent many long hours sitting around at land navigation learning about one another. It was during one of these nights, Anna asked Clint to help take her gear to the vehicles. When Clint watched Anna run into not one, but two cars in the dark, he knew she was the one. Clint asked her out to dinner a few days after that; and ultimately proposed in January 2026 in his favorite city, Antwerp, Belgium.
