Do I need a passport to travel to the Dominican Republic?
Answer
Yes! You will need an up-to-date passport in order to fly to and from the Dominican Republic! Please ensure that your passport is valid for 6 months AFTER THE TRIP as well.

Are children welcome?
Answer
Although we love your little ones, the resort is adults-only and does not accommodate or allow children under the age of 18. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time to celebrate with us.

Is there a resort night minimum?
Answer
Yes, there is a three night minimum, but feel free to stay longer if you please! The resort will be able to accommodate the block room rate for those extra nights as long as you book early.

What should I wear as a wedding guest?
Answer
Since Punta Cana is warm and tropical, we recommend light, breathable fabrics. Think "Tropical Formal" for attire - break out your fun, bright colors and prints for the occasion! HOW FAR IS THE AIRPORT FROM THE RESORT?

15 minutes - Hola Weddings has added the transportation automatically to the booking website. Transportation is NOT included in the room rate. The following rates apply to the group and will be added automatically to every booking: $72 USD per room for a round-trip shuttle service.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK IN?
Answer
Check in for Sanctuary Cap Cana is at 3pm. However, you may check your luggage and use all of the amenities, including food, drinks, and the pools, at any time upon arrival.

What is the cancellation policy for Sanctuary?
Answer
Before June 17, 2025 - There is no penalty for cancelling your reservation. You will receive a refund of your initial deposit. From June 18 until September 30, 2025 - A 2-night penalty per room will apply. From October 1, 2025 until travel - The booking is non-refundable.
