Are children invited?

Our ceremony is taking place on the banks of a river. For their safety and our peace of mind, our evening is adults-only.

What's the attire?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable and beautiful! The ceremony and reception are completely outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Virginia in October can be 55 degrees or 95 degrees. Cocktail attire with grass-safe shoes is recommended. No jeans, please!

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Answer

Yes. River Road is windy and we encourage you to either rideshare to the event or plan to leave your vehicle and pick it up the next day. All vehicles must be removed by 11am on Sunday, October 11th.

Do you have a room block at a hotel?

Answer

Yes. We have a room block at the Hilton Garden Inn on Hospitality Lane, less than 10 minutes from the venue. There are more details on the "Travel" page.
