Then one ordinary day, while running errands, John suggested we make one last stop before heading home. With the address plugged into the GPS, I drove, unaware of our destination. Pulling up to a building adorned with a prominent sign featuring a large ring, I realized we were at Robbins Brothers, where John had orchestrated a sneaky trip to look at engagement rings. His mischievous surprise left us both laughing and shortly after, he made a purchase that would change our lives forever. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found each other and eagerly anticipate celebrating our love with our nearest and dearest.

Emily's dad caught wind of our whereabouts when we were at Robbin's Brothers, through Apple's Find My Friends feature, as he was hoping Emily could swing by and grab dinner for him. Adding to the anticipation, two of Emily's friends had dreams predicting that she would receive a proposal during her trip to Savannah with John. John kept his plans to propose completely under wraps, not breathing a word to anyone about his purchase of the engagement ring or his timeline for popping the question.
