Question

How do I RSVP? When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP before, April 22, 2024. To RSVP, please go to our wedding website listed on your invitation and click the "RSVP" tab. You will be prompted to type your name and click "Continue". Then, you will select you/your party and choose "Will Attend" or "Will Not Attend" for each person in your party. The Ceremony RSVP will RSVP you and your party for the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception! If you are unable to attend, we appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. Any RSVP's received after this date will be marked as a "no" as we will be sending final headcounts to vendors shortly after this deadline - you will be missed!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we have decided to do 2 signature cocktails (bride & groom favorites) at the bar along with different wines, beer & mixers. Cheers!

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We love your little ones and have many important little ones in our lives and we would love to have them be a part of our special day! Your kiddos will be included in your guest count on your invite & on the RSVP page. If you are not planning on bringing them, no worries, just please mark them as "Will Not Attend" on the RSVP page!

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding colors are black and white. We ask that you DO NOT wear black or white. (Men can wear black dress pants.) Thank you for understanding. The dress code is semi-formal. Dresses, collared shirts, suit and tie, cocktail dresses, dress pants, etc. (No jeans, shorts, sneakers, t-shirts or flip-flops.)

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be a brief outdoor ceremony. The cocktail hour will be outside on the back patio area of the venue. The reception will be indoors.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bride and groom, family and bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to cocktail hour where we will be serving hors d'oeuvres and beverages.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation. Your invitation will list the number of seats we have reserved for you. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

As we're already lucky enough to have most of the physical items we need to start our lives together, we have also included our honeymoon fund under the "Registry" tab of our website. We want to be able to create new experiences that will last a lifetime. Thank you!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media? Or during the ceremony?

Answer

Please do not take any pictures during the ceremony! We have hired photographers to capture those moments! But we encourage guests to post pictures during the reception on to their social media accounts, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #TheUtrobins so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Question

How does the seating work?

Answer

The ceremony will have the first two rows on each side reserved for close family. The rest of the ceremony seats will be open seating. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables and seating so our guests are sat with those they know (or their plus one or partner).

Question

What time should I arrive? What do I do if I'm late for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 5:00 pm, we recommend guests arrive between 4:00-4:20 so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you happen to be late, our coordinator will let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception so hang tight and we will see you at the reception! Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is complimentary guest parking. Signs will be posted at the entrance of the venue and a parking attendant will direct you to the appropriate lot.
