WHAT IS THE ATTIRE?

Answer

The attire for our wedding is semi-formal. We kindly request that women wear midi or maxi dresses and that men wear a dress shirt and tie or a suit jacket. Please refrain from wearing jeans/denim and shades of white, ivory, or cream.

WILL THE WEDDING BE HELD INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors under a pavilion, weather permitting. Guests will have the option to wander inside/outside during cocktail hour, also weather permitting. The reception will be held inside Marlene's Event Barn.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm CST. Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony starts to ensure you have plenty of time to park, mingle, and settle into your seat.

WILL THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION BE HELD AT THE SAME LOCATION?

Answer

Yes! We wanted travel to be as convenient as possible for our guests. Therefore, the ceremony and reception will both be held at Marlene's Event Barn in Metamora, IL.

WILL THERE BE ON-SITE PARKING?

Answer

Absolutely! Marlene's Event Barn provides a large parking lot conveniently located just off the entrance to the ceremony and reception site. Multiple handicap parking spaces will also be available for those who need them.

DOES SOMEONE IN YOUR PARTY HAVE A DIETARY RESTRICTION?

Answer

If so, please let us know! When you RSVP for your party, there's a questionnaire box you may fill out to let us know of any food restrictions or allergies. We will do our best to accommodate.

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

Answer

Guests may bring a plus one if the option is offered to you on your invitation. Please let us know if your plus one will be joining you to celebrate the day once you RSVP.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we kindly request that attendance be limited to those specifically listed on your invitation.

CAN I BRING MY OWN ADULT BEVERAGE?

Answer

All alcoholic beverages will be provided and served by our professional bartending staff. To comply with venue policy, we kindly request that no outside alcohol be brought onto the property. Thank you!
