When should I get my passport?

Answer

We recommend applying for your passport as soon as possible in case of any delays. On average, it takes 1-2 months to receive your passport, depending on the time of year.

When should I book my flights?

Answer

It is recommended to book your flights at least 2 to 3 months in advance for the best deals on airfare.

What airport do I fly into?

Answer

You will be flying into Cancun International Airport (CUN). Once you arrive, Lomas Travel will provide shuttle transfers to and from the resort, which are included in your package. The shuttle transfers typically take around 45 minutes to 1 hour. You can grab a drink at the airport to take on your shuttle ride.

What is the weather like in Playa del Carmen in February?

The average temperature during the day ranges from 75°F to 82°F, with cooler evenings that can dip to around 64°F. February is considered one of their dry season months with low rainfall and low humidity.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us. The dress code is Coastal Semi-Formal with light, natural, coastal colors. You can find inspiration on the “Attire” page. WOMEN: Light, airy fabrics are encouraged; prints are welcome. Sandals, heels, wedges, dresses, pantsuits and jumpsuits are all great choices. MEN: Slacks, linen pants, or trousers with a button-up shirt and closed-toe shoes. A coat or tie is optional but not necessary. White undershirts are acceptable. We kindly ask that you refrain from wearing shorts, slides, flip-flops, or jeans.

What should I do during the time gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We will start taking pictures immediately after the ceremony. Afterward, you are free to explore the resort, but please remember that cocktail hour will start at 5 pm.

Can I change my clothes or shoes for the reception?

Answer

We kindly ask that you return to the reception in the same attire as the ceremony. Yes, you may change your shoes if they become uncomfortable. Our photographers will still be taking pictures of everyone throughout the reception.

Will there be an open bar at the wedding?

Answer

The resort is all-inclusive, so all drinks at the wedding are included as well.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, weather permitting. They will take place in the resort’s garden venue.

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

Answer

If there is a guest listed on your invitation, then yes. Please provide your guest’s name when prompted on the RSVP.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be unplugged as we want our guests to be fully present with us. We will have professional photographers to capture the special moments and are excited to share the photos with you.
