Our wedding will take place in the beautiful mountains of Foresthill, at Mountain Shadows Retreat. The closest accommodations are at our venue's sister property, Miners Camp. We expect these cabins to fill up quickly, so we recommend booking promptly! There is a handful of Airbnb's and VRBO's in Forresthill. The nearest hotels are in Auburn, about 20 miles away. Please note that ride-sharing options like Uber/Lyft may be limited, so please plan your transportation accordingly. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in the mountains!

This is the sister property to Mountain Shadows. It is a two minute drive away, or a seven minute walk! We were able to reserve 11 of the cabins for our guests to book through the link below. We highly recommend staying here if possible.

The most convenient option for out of state guests. Located approximately 60 miles from our venue (about a 1-hour drive). Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, as well as rental cars, are readily available.

A scenic alternative located about 118 miles from our venue. While a bit farther than Sacramento, it offers a beautiful drive into Foresthill.

Oakland International Airport/ San Francisco International Airport

Both airports are farther from the venue than Sacramento but can sometimes offer more affordable flight options. Travel time may vary depending on traffic, but the drive is typically a few hours.
