We met our Freshman year at the University of Oklahoma. We were introduced by mutual friends two weeks into the school year. We continued to see each other around campus but it was not until the second semester that our paths finally aligned! After several dates, Connor worked up the courage to ask Shelby to be his girlfriend. Now after nearly 5 years together, we are getting married!

At the site of our first date, Saint Ann, we went on what Shelby believed was a typical Friday date night. After a special dinner together, Connor suggested that we walk through the courtyard to catch an Uber. As we were walking, he stopped me and turned around. Next thing I knew, he was on one knee! After taking pictures, our photographer suggested we take more at a nearby rooftop. When the elevators opened, we were surprised by our family and friends to celebrate! We are looking forward to starting this new chapter together, and can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people!
