Alexei and I met originally through just a phone call. I was interviewing for a job at Boutique Air and got a call from him to do my technical interview. I had no idea who he was. I showed up in Denver, CO for day one of training and in walked Alexei Taylor, instructor, check airman, and little did I know, my future husband. I knew the day I met him that he was going to be important in my life, but I didn't know just how important he would become. I made it through training and went back to Arizona to fly! A few months later we ran into each other in Albuquerque, New Mexico on a trip...that night I texted him and we started talking about how I write letters to people because I still like checking the mail and getting hand written letters, that's when he asked if I'd write him one. That's where our story really begins! Fast forward a year later and lots of letters and we became best friends and knew that we wanted to stay traveling, living life, and flying together. 1/4/2020 - I got to fly home for the day on break from training at my new airline job. Alexei and I went to Red Rocks Park to walk around. Much to my surprise he had his friend up there setting up our box of letters in the perfect spot and waiting to take pictures. Alexei got down on one knee and asked me to continue spending forever together and of course, I said yes! We cannot wait to see all of you over our wedding weekend in Colorado!
