We suggest arriving no later than 15 mins prior to the ceremony (i.e. 5:45pm), especially if you would like to have the best parking spot, as well as a great seat in the beautiful church of Holy Ghost, The earlier the better!
We understand Friday evenings at 6:00 pm might be hard for those who cannot get off of work early. If you cannot make our ceremony mass, the reception is just down the street and doors will be open at 7:00pm at Southeastern's Grand Ballroom! Our ceremony will last just under an hour, and then it's time to party at the reception!
Both our ceremony and our reception have ample parking! No need to worry about walking too far. **See the "Schedule" tab for different parking options for the Reception at SLU's Union Ballroom**
We will have a professional photographer and videographer who are going to be taking care of capturing all of the moments to our special day! In order for those photos and vidoes to come out perfectly, we ask that you refrain from any type of photography during the ceremony, especially as the bridal party and the bride enter the church. We would love to avoid arms and phones being captured in those particular photos. We will gladly share our ceremony and reception photos as soon as we get them for you to see, save, and share! As soon as the party makes its way to the reception, we are more than happy to take photos with all of our guests!
Since our ceremony is in a beautiful Catholic Church, we ask that you dress appropriately as we are in a holy place of God. If you feel you are too revealing, please bring a sweater or coverup for the ceremony, as sometimes the church can be cold. We also know that you can never predict Louisiana weather, even in February!
We love kids! Especially those in our families and part of our friends families, as they are near and dear to our hearts. For our ceremony and reception, please abide by what your invitation states and make arrangements for children so you can come and celebrate with us! Everyone deserves a night to enjoy without having to worry about their little ones :)
Our wedding colors are deep red, gold, and white/ivory. We love greenery, so that will also play into our colors and decorations!
