With it being the beginning of April, the rain forecast can be unpredictable. However, it should be warm! We suggest bringing an umbrella and a light jacket or sweater for the evening if you get cold easily.
We had a change of plans and eloped! Because of this, there will be no ceremony. The reception will take place on an enclosed rooftop.
Our venue is the upstairs of a restaurant: Cinco Mexican Cantina 2851 Akers Mill Rd SE Atlanta, GA 30339 We recommend putting the address into your GPS. Here are some additional directions: 🚗 From Downtown Atlanta 1. Start on I-75/I-85 South (the Connector) from the heart of downtown. 2. After about 5–6 miles, stay right to continue on I-75 South toward Macon. 3. Take Exit 250A for Camp Creek Pkwy toward Hartsfield-Jackson ATL. 4. At the Camp Creek Pkwy exit, merge onto Akers Mill Rd SE. 5. Continue straight on Akers Mill Rd past big landmarks like the AMC Southlake Pavilion movie theater and Southlake Mall area. 6. After you pass the Cobb Pkwy (US-41) intersection, look for Cinco on your right — it’s in a plaza before you reach Concourse Pkwy SE. 👉 It’ll be on a stretch with lots of shopping and restaurants, so keep an eye out for the plaza and the cantina’s sign. 🚙 From I-285 (Perimeter) Eastbound 1. Take I-285 East toward I-75/I-85 South. 2. Use the right 2 lanes to merge onto I-75 South toward Atlanta. 3. Take Exit 250A for Camp Creek Pkwy toward Hartsfield-Jackson ATL. 4. Follow the same steps above: merge onto Akers Mill Rd SE and continue to Cinco. 🗺️ Helpful Street & Landmark Notes - The restaurant is just south of Cobb Pkwy (US-41) on Akers Mill Rd SE — a major east-west street in south Atlanta. - Cobb Pkwy/US-41 itself is a great clue — once you cross it heading east on Akers Mill, Cinco is close after that intersection. - The area has several shopping centers, big parking lots, and chain restaurants — so visually look for a lively plaza along Akers Mill.
Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 15-30 minutes early to make sure we can start dinner on time.
The restaurant is in a large shopping center with a lot of free parking. You should be able to take your pick!
The Mexican restaurant that is hosting us (Cinco) will be providing a fajita buffet for dinner.
