Lindsey and Mitchell first met in high school at a tennis tournament. They were just friends, but they never knew where their lives would take them. Fast forward to the year of 2020- it was their sophomore year of college with Lindsey at William & Mary and Mitchell at Virginia Tech. Their schools had closed down for the COVID pandemic; and Lindsey saw Mitchell running at a local park with a friend when Lindsey realized she recognized him. Lindsey messaged Mitchell on instagram (making the first move) and asked him to go out! The rest is history.

Mitchell invited both his and her families down to Gaines' Mill Battlefield for the ultimate surprise. Lindsey just thought they were going on a morning hike (a very early & very cold morning hike) around their favorite park. Once they arrived at one of their favorite spots, Mitchell got down on one knee and asked the most important question. Lindsey excitedly said YES! To finish their hike, they rounded a heavily forested portion of the park and there stood both families- jumping up and down, screaming with joy! Lindsey was completely surprised and Mitchell was the happiest man on earth.

Lindsey loves trying new baking recipes and practicing yoga in her free time. She can eat an entire burger & French fries in record time and recite any and every Fleetwood Mac song. Mitchell is most likely out on his boat fishing if you can't find him. He knows all the good Mexican restaurants within a 50-mile radius, surfs when it's 30 degrees out, and loves a good flannel. Luna is their silver tabby cat, who prefers to have her daily water intake fed to her from a glass on the living room table. She likes to hide in the linen closet daily (and not come out until mom & dad are home) and she will answer to being called "Looney-Tunes" on occasion.
