We’re getting married!!

Jacob and Mackenzie met in June of 2020 by way of one of Jacob’s friends. At a local bar Jacob was introduced to Mackenzie and he and his friend did as they normally did in these situations, fabricate a story to break the ice. Jacob and his friend falsely described to Mackenzie how they had “met.” This included the likes of a high school double date, after hours, at the Birmingham Zoo and evading the cops. Mackenzie stood there with a glare and a grin feeding Jacob all of the head nods and “oh wows” that he was looking for as he struggled to string together this concoction with his friend; all the while knowing good and well that he was full of it, but she thought the attempt was cute. They parted ways that night with glowing curiosity of the other. Being who they are, they each decided to play hard to get until the stubborn heads collided and decided to make their relationship official in May 2022. Jacob still thinks Mackenzie believes that the first story that he told her is true. Mackenzie still knows that he’s full of it.
