Stinson Beach
The beach is incredibly beautiful here, I definitely recommend spending some time out outside as the weather is beautiful out here in August! You can walk to either end of the beach easily, as each way is under 4 miles round trip. If you head left toward the public side of the beach, you can see some really fun tide pools at low tide, but you might have to climb on some rocks! If you walk right towards the private side of the beach, there's a lagoon at the end where you might even spot a seal or two!
Stinson Beach Books
A small, locally owned business in town that I always love to give patronage to when I'm in the area. If you're a book lover I definitely recommend checking it out, but they also carry all kinds of little toys and games to keep your little ones busy.

A range of different surfing lessons from beginner to advanced for those that are feeling a little more adventurous!
Fritz Bikes
For all you bike lovers out there, this is the recommendation for you. A wide array of bike rentals for you to ride the day out to your hearts content or to tour some of the more scenic areas available nearby!
Stinson Beach Gallery
A small local art gallery featuring artwork from local artists in the Marin County area. It's a fastidiously curated modern gallery started in 2001 and a fun little gallery to check out for any patrons of the arts!
