We're getting married!

Let me tell you a story. Sadee and I met back in March 2022. Through mutual friends we were both invited to a group dinner and movie night. My good buddy Thad and I arrived early, and after getting acquainted with some great people, Sadee and her brother Jessee had arrived at the restaurant. I knew Jessee a little bit, but this was the first time I had ever met Sadee. When I first saw Sadee it was like time had stopped, my worries and conversations with everyone else had suddenly become very insignificant. All that mattered in that moment was this beautiful, sweet, charming girl that had just walked into my life. It was no question at all that it was.. love at first site. After our dinner, Jessee, Thad, Sadee, and I climbed into Jessee's beat up Subaru and headed on over to the movie theater. After a very mediocre movie, our whole group left and spent the remainder of the night talking and laughing in the parking lot. Everyone then left, but our little group. Sadee and her brother wanted to go for a ride in my car. I was obviously very excited to show off my sports car to Sadee, we then had a lot of fun racing around the parking lot and made some great memories. At the end Sadee and I shared a moment.. and little did I know that this little gesture would be the thing that started our mutual feelings for each other. I extended my hand to Sadee and helped her out of my car. YEAH JOSH!! Then we didn't see or speak to each other for another year and a half.... my fault haha! Although they were small moments... I knew there was something Special about her :)

One random day in February of 2023 I got a silly little instagram notification from a guy I haven't talked to in over a year. Little did I know I would be engaged to that same man one year later. Hehe It started out with lighthearted conversations about how he wished he had reached out in a different way and I would just laugh and tell him how stupid he was. But slowly those light conversations turned into long paragraphs getting to know every detail about each other. I will always cherish these messages because I truly got to know josh and all the different parts of his amazing personality. I soon learned just how much I cared about him and how he is someone I cannot live without. June 1st, 2023 was the best day ever. The day we told each other our true feelings. We went on and on about how we felt about each other and how happy we were that the feeling was mutual. A couple days later I was able to show him my favorite spot, Wilson Pond. We talked there for hours about what our lives looked like leading up to that day and how we wanted our lives to look after. No surprise to us, our future goals and desires lined up perfectly. From that point on we just fell harder and harder in love with each other. Fast forward to January 28th, 2024 when Josh brought me back to Wilson Pond to ask if I wanted to be his wife. As you can see... I said yes :)
