We’re doin’ the dang thing!

A lot lead up to this day and created the story of us. Madison went to high school with Vaughn’s youngest brother Connor. That simple connection is how Madison came to know the George family and became friends with the oldest George brother’s wife, Alexa. Knowing that her brother-in-law Vaughn would be a great match for Madison, Alexa tried to set them up together in late 2022. It took a couple months of persistent instagram DMs before Vaughn secured his first date with Madison on January 9 at Javier’s. Vaughn and Madison were both lucky enough to know 2 short days after that 1st date that forever was in their future. From that day forward the couple was inseparable and in love. We are very excited to share this special day with the ones who mean so much to us, and hope you can come witness our love as we are joined in holy matrimony.

A short two days after their first date, Vaughn began writing secret letters to Madison. Over the months as more and more letters were written he knew that at some point he would show them to her as a way of expressing how quickly he fell in love. As the time came to proposal, he saw a chance to use these letters not only as an expression of their love, but to weave them into what would become one of the most special days of their lives. Leading up to the big day, Vaughn coordinated with Madisons Mother and 12 of her closest friends to create a surprise proposal for her. The day started with her a handful of her friends out at a seemingly normal brunch. At the end of the brunch is where her day would take an eventful turn. She was handed the very first letter ever written to her, dated January 11th, 2023. Along with that letter was a guide for what the rest of her day would involve. She was instructed to solve a clue, and once that clue was solved it would lead her to a second destination. At the next location she was greeted by a second group of her closest friends who then presented her with another letter from Vaughn and another clue. This would now lead her to the third and final destination. At this final location her Mother, Amy, was waiting with the last letter, and of course, several outfit change options. After a brief outfit change, Madison and her Mother drove down to Harbor Island where Vaughn was waiting near the water where he hit his knee, promised forever, and she SAID YES!
