The Vineyard is a very special place but can be a lot to navigate if you've never been. The theme of the answers to most questions will be to reserve early, communicate often, and reach out if you have any questions! We would hate for someone to not be able to come because they didn't reserve a ferry, waited too long to book accommodations, or accidentally ended up on Nantucket (joking, that would be hard to do). The venue is a local restaurant that we love called Atria, located in downtown Edgartown. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will be outside (covered). The after party will be inside in the cellar.

Parking in downtown Edgartown is very limited, and there is no parking directly at the venue. We recommend booking accommodations nearby or using Ubers/rideshare. If you do plan to drive, street parking is available downtown - just be sure to allow extra time to find a spot.
There are 3 ways to get to the vineyard: Airplane: if you are traveling from out of state (or even in state), we recommend flying straight into Martha's Vineyard Airport (MVY). There are direct flights from Boston, New York, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia. You can then utilize a car service/ride share to and from the airport, use the free local bus, or rent a car. Passenger Ferry: There are various ferry services departing largely from Cape Cod and the Massachusetts area. Steamship Authority has readily available tickets that don't require too much pre planning. Island Queen and Sea Streak are smaller, passenger only boats that will require booking in advance. Please refer to the Travel page for links and more information. Car Ferry: If you expect to need a car on the Vineyard and don't plan to rent on island, you can utilize the car ferry through Steamship Authority (linked on Travel page). Please note, most hotels in downtown Edgartown do not have designated parking or have very limited parking. Edgartown is very walkable so most guests will not have use for a car. However, if you are driving from in state, plan to stay longer than the weekend, or are planning to go up island, this may be the right choice for you. Please note the car ferry books up very quickly and you must have a reservation. Reservations for Summer 2026 open on February 3 at 8 AM - please make note of this date if you plan to utilize the car ferry. One last note: There are car parks at the departure ports in Cape Cod where you can leave your car for the night/weekend and take the passenger ferry. This is a great option for guests driving from New York or New England region.
Yes, Ubers and Taxis are readily available at most times, especially down island where we will be.
Yes! There are multiple car rental companies on Martha's Vineyard, including at the airport and smaller companies down island. You may consider renting a car if you want to explore the island, or are staying in a nearby town (Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs, Katama, etc.) and don't want to rely on Ubers or the bus for the entire weekend. If you'd like to rent a car, we would recommend booking a car rental ASAP, as there is limited inventory and these will sell out.
Yes. We highly recommend Farm Neck Golf Club (semi private, reservations required) and Royal and Ancient Chappaquiddick Links - a 9 hole course on Chappy (Chappy is a peninsula of MV that can be accessed via a 4 minute ferry ride from Edgartown. Reserve your tee time with your roundtrip ferry ride included!)
