What is the wedding day timeline?

Answer

4:00 p.m. - Please arrive at The Bordone and enjoy a beverage 4:30 p.m. - Tissues in hand, it is time to watch the bride and groom share their vows 5:00 p.m. - Cocktails, mocktails, and Hors d'oeuvres galore 6:30 p.m. - Dinner and Toasts 8:00 p.m. - Put those dancing shoes to the test 11:30 p.m. - Farewell 11:35 p.m. - For those ready to continue the evening, let's head to the after party! Hop on the shuttle bus downstairs, and let's head to Sweetleaf Coffee & Cocktail Bar! For those taking alternate transit, please head to 4615 Center Blvd, Long Island City, NY 11109. 1:30 a.m. EST - Shuttles will depart from Sweetleaf Coffee & Cocktail Bar, and take guests back to The Boro Hotel or Hotel 57.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation to the wedding venue will not be provided, so please pre-order a car service (such as Uber, Lyft or Via), or use Google Maps to assist in public transit. For our guests who are driving, parking lots are available by The Bordone. Transportation will be provided from the wedding venue to Hotel 57 and The Boro Hotel at 9:30 p.m. EST, 10:30 p.m. EST, 11:30 p.m. EST and 1:30 a.m. EST.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. Gentlemen, if you own a tux, it's time to put them to good use! Ladies, floor length dresses are preferred. The day's events will be begin outdoors so please dress for the weather.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony is unplugged. Please refrain from taking any photos during the ceremony, and live in the moment! Our photographer and videographer will capture the moment on our behalf - we hope you can understand!

Question

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception? What is the best way to let the bride and groom know about dietary restrictions/allergies?

Answer

We'll be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a three-course plated dinner and dessert. If you have not done so already, please make Allison or Sam aware of your dietary restrictions.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

For those wishing to continue the festivities, please hop on the shuttle bus at 11:35 p.m. and head to Sweetleaf Coffee and Cocktail Bar. If you plan on taking alternate transit, the address is 4615 Center Blvd, Long Island City, NY 11109.
