Forever and Always

We first met back in high school, where we were part of the same friend group and shared a few classes together. I still remember asking Devontae for the math homework, and him later admitting he would only do it because he knew I was going to ask for it. Between seeing each other at school and my sister noticing him at my lacrosse games, it did not take long before my family started taking an interest too — especially my mom, who quickly became a fan. At that point, I think I knew it was meant to be. Although we met in high school, it wasn't until after graduation that our relationship truly began. From the very beginning, everything felt different and effortless in the best way. We immediately knew there was something special between us, and for the first time, I felt a kind of love I had never experienced before. What started with nervous first texts asking each other to hang out quickly turned into building a life together. Before long, we moved into our first apartment together and became proud parents… to three very spoiled cats. Through every stage of life, we have grown side by side, creating a life full of love, laughter, and countless memories. Now, 6 years later, we are getting married, and we would not change a single thing that led us here together.
