Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask guests to arrive by 3:45 PM to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and getting settled before the ceremony begins. We want everyone to be able to relax and enjoy the moment as we say "I do!" Thank you for helping us start our celebration on time.
Thank you for celebrating this special time with us! We are truly fortunate to already have everything we need for our home, so we kindly request no boxed gifts. Your love, support, and presence at our wedding are the greatest gifts we could receive. However, if you feel moved to give, we would be deeply grateful for a contribution to any of our funds as we begin this new chapter together. For guests who prefer not to use Venmo, there will also be a designated card box at the reception where you may leave a card or envelope. We'd love for our guests to dress up and celebrate with us in elegant yet comfortable attire. Cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits, dress shirts with slacks, and sport coats are all wonderful choices. Please feel free to add your own personal style—we want you to feel confident, comfortable, and ready to enjoy a beautiful evening together. We kindly ask that guests avoid casual attire such as jeans, t-shirts, athletic wear, and flip-flops.
In late September, Cedar Rapids, Iowa has comfortable and cooling weather. High temperatures drop from about 79°F to 69°F. Low temperatures drop from 59°F to 48°F.
The ceremony will be outdoors following cocktail hour, the reception is indoors.
Please reserve your room by August 21st to take advantage of our room block. If you experience any difficulties with booking, please reach out to Sarai or Chandler, and we will be happy to connect with our sales coordinator to assist you. Please note that our room block includes a limited number of King rooms, which will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once those rooms have been reserved, guests will be assigned Queen rooms based on availability. If a Queen room will not meet your needs, please contact us and we'll do our best to help explore other options.
