General Travel Notes
With the exception of the optional Welcome Drinks at Pebble Beach, all wedding events will take place in the heart of downtown, or beaches of Carmel-by-the-Sea. The area is very walkable, so we highly recommend staying in downtown to make the most of your visit. That said, rental car services and/or Ubers are also available if needed.
Flight
Getting Here
We recommend flying into Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) as it is a 15-minute drive from downtown. Car services are available to and from airport. Other Airport options include San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) or San Francisco International Airport (SFO), but both include lengthy drives to Carmel-by-the-Sea. Again, we advocate for all guest to fly into MRY. MRY to La Playa - 15 minutes SJC to La Playa - 1 hour 30 minutes SF to La Playa - 2 hours
Hotel
Where to Stay
There's no shortage of cute and quaint inns/hotels here! Although there is no room block for the wedding, please find below a few recommendations. Again, the downtown is very small and walkable so, no matter where you choose to stay, you'll be within walking distance of La Playa.
