You have found one of Morris Counties best kept secrets! Our origin dates back to 1945 when Fred and Ranghild Bostrom planted the first fruit trees on Sun High's 25 acres. Our history of providing the community with the highest quality of tree fresh peaches and apples continues today, but with some tasty additions! Today, our on site farm market offers you a full range of fresh picked fruits and vegetables. Come early in the morning and smell the breads and apple pies baking in our ovens. Maybe try some of our picnic salads in the summer months or warm up with a quart of delicious soup in the cooler months. Got a sweet tooth? Sun High now makes homemade gourmet ice cream. Enjoy a cone or sundae on our garden patio or have us pack a pint for take home!
Czig Meister Brewery is a production craft brewery with an old-world style tasting room and a beautiful outdoor biergarten. Once a Ford repair shop, this huge space was transformed into a brewery. The brewery has a 15-barrel craft brewery system. This system is where brewmaster Matthew makes his four year-round beers and his seasonal beers. There is also a pilot system where the single keg forge batches are made.
Waterloo Village takes the visitor through time from a 400-year old Lenape (Delaware) Indian village to a bustling port along the once prosperous Morris Canal. This early 19th-century restored village contains a working mill complex with gristmills and sawmills, a general store, blacksmith shop and several historic houses. Winakung at Waterloo Inc. offers educational, environmental and cultural programming and tours for groups at Waterloo Village through a concession agreement with the NJDEP Division of Parks and Forestry.
