Like every true modern day romance, we met online. All it took was swiping right on a boy in a kilt and the rest was history. Our first date was at a local bar where David quickly learned that I am perpetually late. Thankfully he waited and we bonded over tater tots and beer. After that night, we had already planned our second date and knew this was the start of an amazing adventure.

It was a Monday night and the plan was either play tennis or go chase the sunset with our camera. David said that it was going to be a clear sky and a perfect sunset at 6:56pm, so we hiked over to a new spot called Watch Rock. We set everything up preparing for the sun to go down. So at 6:56pm, David dropped to his knee, and asked me to marry him! Mind you, it took about 30 seconds and David asking me to turn around for me to actually see him on his knee since I was distracted by the sunset, but nonetheless it was our perfect moment!
