Kaneshiro and Micah have been friends since they were little rascals at kids church. They’re called M&M because two Micahs are better than one. Kaneshiro has always been a part of the Tesoro ‘ohana... attending family dinners, sleeping over, knowing the sibling inside jokes, and even going to Seattle with them. He is a loyal friend that has been there for the highs and lows of Micah’s life and stuck by his side through it all without judgment. Kaneshiro is a proud uchinanchu and when he’s not fixing your electricity, he’s cheersing heines with his soon to be wifey, Rachel.
Lauren Ohtani
Maid of Honor
Lauren and Brit met in Japanese 102 class while they attended Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Opposites really do attract... Brit was the introverted and nerdy gal, while Lauren was the outgoing and spunky cheerleader. Brit loved matcha, Lauren loved coffee. Brit loved running, Lauren rather lift weights. And the list goes on. From grabbing Starbucks before class every morning to becoming roommates, Lauren has become her sister, supporter, and encourager. Lauren currently lives in Oregon and is an Education Assistant with the Hillsboro School District.
Aaron Yoshida

Aaron, aka Tonida, is Micah’s friend from kids church. Those kolohe boys used to get into all kinds of trouble together. Now, they are both in similar seasons of life starting their own families. Aaron always has a smile on his face and is there when Micah needs Godly advice. He leads worship, teaches music, and loves spending time with his wife, Morgan and son, Beck. Although Micah and Aaron live miles apart, they still connect through FaceTime and by playing Fortnite online together.
Raychel Tanudra

Brit and Raychel met in 2018 at a young adults connect group gathering. After the group, Raychel asked Brit for a ride home. What should've been a quick 10-minute drop, off turned into an hour long conversation about life and praying for each other, and continued boba, matcha, and cheap eats dates. Raychel has been a prayer sister for Brit. Fun fact: Raychel's middle name is Brittni. Not only do they share a name, but they're so alike in many ways, which is why you may hear them calling each other Twin Brit, or Twin for short.
Cody Reyes

Cody is Micah’s cousin but has always been more like a brother. He’s a good time and fun to be around because he’s always cracking jokes, that’s why he and Micah get along so well. When all the cousins get together, Cody and Micah are the number 1 suspects when there’s trouble or chaos. Cody has always looked out for Micah since they were kids and never fails to tell him the straight and hard truth. He is a humble man of God who leads by example. Cody loves to fish, golf, and go to the beach with his wife, Denise and kids, Cameron and Aria.
Christin Tesoro
Bridesmaid
Christin is one of Brit's sisters-in-law, but she has become a great friend and sister for Brit. Since Micah and Brit started dating, she has supported, encouraged, and prayed for them as they've grown, and continue to grow in their relationship in Christ. She has also supported Brit in her personal and professional pursuits, and is a hype woman when Brit trains for the Honolulu marathon. Christin is a Speech Language Pathologist and recently moved home, from Hilo, to be closer to family.
Jordan Inamasu

Jordan is married to Micah’s oldest sister. He used to be Micah’s chauffeur, dropping him off to Sandy’s and picking him up from middle school, but now he’s Micah’s favorite sibling that he can count on to have his back. Jordan grew up in Maui but now he resides in the 44 and even works there too, teaching math at Castle high school. He is respectful, honoring, and an encourager who will always have your best interest at heart. Jordan is a family man and enjoys quality time with Chante and their three boys, Levi, Lawson, and Lake.
Chante Inamasu

Chante is one of Brit's sisters-in-law, but she is also someone Brit admires and looks up to. Her kindness, gentleness, compassion, hospitality and love for others are character traits Brit aspires to emulate. Since meeting her, Chante has always made Brit feel so welcomed and included and does not hesitate to ever offer support or lend a hand whenever she can. Chante met Jordan during her freshman year of college. She played softball and he played baseball... I guess you can say they HIT it off.
Ka'ai Rombawa

Ka'ai, or Kai Kai, has been one of Micah's solid friends since their Castle High School football days. Even though they don't see each other as often, when they do meet up, it's good vibes and good fun. Ka'ai always has Micah's best interest in mind and has been there for him through the good and bad times. Micah had the privilege and honor of baptizing Ka'ai a few years ago at church. Ka'ai loves spending time with his wife, Rose, and two kids, Kamalu and Kamalie.
Denise Reyes
Bridesmaid
Brit and Denise went through a Bible class called the Ekklesia Excelerator where they got to hear each other's heart and passions for life. Denise is such a sweet soul and a great encourager for Brit; she always feels refreshed after talking to her. Denise is FBI, Hilo born and raised. She loves all things ocean... swimming, fishing, bodyboarding. Funny story: Denise and Brit always make jokes that Cody and Micah are way too similar.
