The Proposal
One night at dinner, my parents invited Dominic & I to go to Tennessee for a family trip.
I agreed but Dom couldn't go since he had a work trip. Little did I know Dom was NOT going on a work trip but was on his way to TN.
As we pulled up to a mansion of a log cabin, I was in disbelief this is where we were staying. We unpacked & decided to go into town for line dancing.
Before we left my dad wanted a photo of us all by the river.
As I walked out of the basement I saw Dom surrounded by rose petals & candles. I was in such shock & asked everyone what he was doing there.
As Dominic got down on one knee and asked me to Marry him, I was still trying to wrap my head around what was going on. After I said yes through all of my joyful tears, I turned around and was surprised with Dominic’s family overlooking us on the deck above. SURPRISED is the understatement of the year.
We celebrated the weekend with lots of laughter and tears and a family vacation neither of us will ever forget.
