Paul & I met on the dating app Hinge. Paul was working in Hamilton one day and liked me on the app. I liked him back and he sent the first message. Even though I wasn't much of a talker this man was persistent. One thing about Paul Taylor is he does not like to be ignored, lol. He messaged me another four times before I told my sister, "This man is either the love of my life or really annoying." She told me to just message him back. So I did and here we are today.
Our first Date was to Outback Steakhouse and to PopStroke, a mini golf course, in Tuscaloosa. He told me the whole thing was a surprise so I had no idea where we were going when he picked me up. We went to eat first and he thought I was crazy because I ordered chicken fingers at a steakhouse. I still do the same now, I am not a big steak girl, lol. Then we went to the mini golf course and we did both of the courses. He walked me to my door and hugged me goodbye. Turns out I actually left my golf ball that we got to keep in his truck so he brought it to me the next day and took me out to lunch.
Paul proposed to me at Mrytle Beach. Since we first started dating Paul said "I am gonna marry you one day." Little did I know his family, my family and everyone knew that I was going to get to marry the love of my life. It was early into our week at the beach and we were getting ready to take our family pictures. Everyone took their pictures and when it was Paul's and I's turn everyone took out their phones. I still didn't think anything of it but when I turned around he was on one knee. I was so surprised. Of course I said yes!
