If I can no longer make it, what should I do?

What happens if I am running more than 30 minutes late?

Answer

To be respectful to all of the bride, groom and attending guests, doors will CLOSE within 30 minutes of the start time.

What should I wear?

Answer

This is a black-tie affair. All guests are required to wear black. Immediate family has been notified of their attire suggestion. If you have not been notified, please adhere to the request of all black.

May I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we love everyone, RSVPs are required and invitations are specific to named parties only. Additional guests and children are not allowed.

I am traveling from out of town, where can I stay?

Answer

For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick located at 2 Albany St, New Brunswick, NJ 08901. When calling to make your reservation, please mention "Monique & Drew Wedding Group Block" in order to receive a discounted rate. Please use travel tab to book.

Where do I park?

Answer

Parking options vary for each venue. Parking at the Hyatt Regency of New Brunswick is discounted for all wedding party guests. If you may need to park on-site for the Welcome Party or other overnight stay, please inform the staff that you are parking for "Monique and Drew's Wedding." The wedding ceremony parking will be free in the church lot at Community Baptist Church. There are multiple parking options for attending the wedding reception at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC). If you're a hotel guest, the reception is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. You are welcome to keep your car parked on-site at the hotel. If you're not staying at the proposed hotel, NBPAC does offer paid-parking. There is a paid-parking lot directly adjacent to the rear of the building. Guests are also welcome to use street parking or any other nearby parking decks, upon their own discretion.

What should I gift the bride and groom?

Answer

Although we love the beautiful and intricate finds for brides and grooms, we would love for guests to follow suit to the monetary gifts based on the recommendations in our registry.
