SNORKELING. This is one location where snorkeling is top-notch. It's super close to our venue, so close that we just may have to go the morning before we say "I do." On any day, you can expect to see an incredible array of tropical fish. And on most days, you get lucky enough to see sea turtles, manatee, and impressive sea stars!
Karissa gives AMAZING tours of the inlet. She shares her knowledge of the native sea life and vegetation as well as fun facts on the history of the inlet. You can double up paddle boarding & snorkeling, as she will make a stop at Cato's Bridge and guide you through your under water experience!
KAYAKING. Don't let the gators scare you! BIKING. For those who are a no-go on the gator tour.
One of our favorite spots to chill in the water, floating on a noodle, and then lying out on the sugar sand.
Guys. There are sea turtles every where here. It doesn't matter how many times I see them. They always fill me with pure joy. This spot does incredible work to rehabilitate injured turtles. You may get lucky enough to be here for one of their releases!
Watch the tide come in over the rocky Anastasia limestone shoreline—the largest on the Atlantic coast. At high tide when the sea is rough, seas break against the rocks and force plumes of saltwater up to 50 feet skyward. It’s an impressive sight.
