Question
What should I expect for the ceremony?
Answer
This union has been built on the foundation of Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, and we plan for that to be reflected in every aspect of the ceremony. We seek for God to be glorified in all that we do, including the way we coordinate this day. Please be mindful that the ceremony will include worship, prayer, and an overall agenda that acknowledges and celebrates our covenant under God.

When does the ceremony start?

The ceremony is scheduled to start at 3 PM. We ask that you arrive at the Chapel no later than 2:30 PM.

Where should I park for the ceremony?
Answer
Parking is available through Indiana Univeristy Bloomington right next to Beck Chapel. You can find it by searching Beck Chapel or Indiana University Memorial Union on Google. The price for parking is $1 per 30 minutes. You should expect to pay $4-$6 total.

Where should we gather as we arrive?
Answer
Upon arrival, you may enter the chapel. Feel free to mingle with other guests as you wish. 10 minutes prior to the ceremony's commencement, the officiant will come into the chapel and ask that everyone begin taking their seats.

What is the seating arrangement?
Answer
We will have an open seating arrangement. Our only preference is to reserve the first two rows for immediate family and for all the guests to be evenly distributed between the two sides.

What is the cell phone policy?
Answer
This will be an "unplugged" ceremony. We ask that all phones be silenced and put away for the duration of the ceremony. There will be no need to have them out, as we have a wonderful and talented photographer who will be capturing each moment. We really wish for all our guests to draw their hearts and minds to be fully present with us during this holy, sacred, and beautiful occasion.

This will be adults only ceremony and celebration. Thank you for understanding.

What should I expect for the reception?
Answer
Our reception will be very relaxed and intimate since we’re only celebrating with about 20 guests. We really want the evening to feel personal as we focus solely on celebrating and spending quality time with our loved ones.

You can park anywhere in the SummerHouse at Indiana parking lot.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes. Please let us know if you have food allergy or any dietary restrictions. We are more then happy to accomodate you.
