Well... it's California in the middle of JUNE! It will be warm. The average high in Oak Glen during this time is 91°F, the average low is around 58°F. Most of the venue will have shade, umbrellas, and trees. We will provide hand fans for all of our guests.
Semi-formal/Cocktail, Garden Party. Men: Please no blue jeans and no t-shirts. Women: Please no white, ivory, eggshell, off white, champagne... you get it! No white shades. We also want all of our guests to be comfortable in the summer heat. If you have any questions about the dress code, please feel free to text us!
Short answer? Unfortunately, no. We love our friends and family member's kiddos, but we did have to make a difficult decision and keep the guest list down for the venue. We hope you can take a date night and celebrate our future with us in an adult environment. Enjoy the food, drinks and festivities!
All wedding guests will be directly addressed on the invite.
For the Ceremony, we please ask that you refrain from recording or taking pictures on your phone, tablet, or personal cameras. We have an amazing photographer duo to professionally photograph this portion of our wedding event. Prior to the Vows, there will be a special opportunity for guests to take personal photos and video. During the reception: fair game! Please be mindful of the photographers during the reception. We do not mind at all if you choose to post before we do! We will probably be much to busy to post ourselves anyway :)
The Homestead at Wilshire in Oak Glen has PLENTY of parking space for all of our guests.
If you know the Bride..... Hell yeah, it's OPEN OPEN! Drink (safely) to your content! We have collected calls and premiums over the engagement so far to have a fine selection for our bar. If you have indulged a little too much we ask that you please notify the bride and/or groom, or any of the staff or family, whoever you are most comfortable with. We will be happy and honored to make sure YOU make it home safely!
For the wedding, your presence is the most important thing to us! We are SO EXCITED to host this event and can’t wait to see all our friends, family, and influential people in both of our lives and relationship all under the same sun and moon!
