Q & A

The Wedding Website of Joseph Tamer and Mirella Sidarous
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie! The theme we are going for is “Outshine the Bride”, because we want everyone to feel confident, glamorous, and dressed their absolute best. Think formal gowns, suits, and your most elegant attire—we can’t wait to see everyone shine with us!

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 20-30 minutes before the ceremony so that you can find your seat and get comfortable! If you are running late, you may be asked to wait and join us after the ceremony is finished.

Question

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’d love for you to take a few pics during the celebration, but for the ceremony, we ask that you please keep phones away. It’s so easy to get caught up trying to get the “perfect picture,” and that’s not what we want—we want you fully in the moment with us. Celebrate, be present, and truly bask in it with us… old school style. Our amazing photographer will be capturing everything!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you on our special day! To ensure we can accommodate everyone comfortably, we kindly ask that only those listed on your RSVP be in attendance.

Question

Are children invited to the ceremony?

Answer

We love your little ones—children are welcome to join us for the church ceremony. However, for the reception, we kindly ask that it be an adults-only celebration (ages 15 and older). Please refer to the following question for additional details.

Question

Will babysitting services be available for children during the reception?

Answer

Yes! We will have a professional babysitting service available in a room at the resort so parents can enjoy the celebration. Please note children will not be allowed in the ballroom at any given time. When you RSVP, there will be a section asking if you need babysitting services for your child. Please indicate this there so we can plan accordingly. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out to us!

Question

What should I do after the ceremony?

Answer

We know that almost all of us have parking lot syndrome so we've made sure to incorporate this into the schedule. The ceremony is planned to end around 4:00 PM, and cocktail hour at the reception will begin at 5:00 PM. The reception venue is about 30–45 minutes from the church, so we recommend heading there shortly after the ceremony to join everyone for cocktail hour and enjoy some time to relax with some good food before the fun begins!

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We are so grateful for your love and support! We do not have a traditional registry, if you wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution toward our future plans would mean so much to us thank you!

Question

Why is faith such an important part of our wedding day?

Answer

Because it’s the foundation of our relationship. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the Lord’s faithfulness, and we want our marriage to begin the same way we hope it will continue - with Christ at the center. We’re so excited to celebrate with you as we enter into this covenant before God and become one.
